Kurumurthy Rayudu: This place is located about 25 Kms away from Kothakota which is on the National Highway No. 7 in between Hyderabad and Kurnool. Train facility is also available from Hyderabad towards Kurnool and the nearest station is Kurumurthi or Madanapuram. Kurumurthi is a hill temple and the main deity is Lord Sri Venkateshwara Swamy. In olden days the temple was in a cave in between two mountains. The temple was constructed during A.D. 1350 and it is very pleasant to have a Darshan of Sri Venkateshwara Swmay in a cave. At present the cave has been removed and the temple was constructed. To reach the temple there are steps from the foot of the hills. Sacred water body is located at the foot hills.
